2nd Fairy Tail Anime Film Reveals Title, Spring 2017 Premiere

  • The franchise’s first anime film, Fairy Tail the Movie: Phoenix Priestess, opened in Japan on August 18, 2012.

  • The Japanese film distribution company GAGA opened a website on Saturday to reveal the Fairy Tail: Dragon Cry anime film.

  • Fairy Tail manga creator Hiro Mashima also confirmed on Twitter on Saturday that “Dragon Cry” is the subtitle for the new film.
