The staff for the second live-action film of Kōji Matsumoto’s Higanjima manga revealed on Wednesday the film’s new teaser trailer, visual, full title Higanjima Deluxe, and October 15 opening date.
The original 33-volume Higanjima manga also inspired a live-action film in 2010.
The first live-action series adapting Higanjima: Saigo no 47-Hiai premiered in Japan in 2013.
The visual confirms that Shunya Shiraishi and Ryohei Suzuki will reprise their roles as the brothers Akira Miyamoto and Atsushi Miyamoto, respectively.
