The film opened in Japan on February 8, and it earned 100 million yen (about US$906,285) in its first five days.
The official website for the anime adaptation of Carlo Zen and Shinobu Shinotsuki’s Saga of Tanya the Evil (Yōjo Senki) novel series announced on Friday that the franchise’s anime film will have 4DX screenings in Japan beginning on April 5.
People who attend 4DX screenings will receive a film strip.
The anime has earned 200 million yen (about US$1.8 million) as of February 23.
