The official website for Chūbyō Gekihatsu Boy, the television anime of Vocaloid producer rerulili’s “Young disease outburst Boy” (“Chūbyō Gekihatsu Boy”) song and Minato Tonami’s slice-of-life comedy novel adaptation, revealed on Friday that the anime will premiere in Japan on October 4.
The anime’s five main male cast members are performing the opening song “Chūbyō Gekihatsu Boy” under the group name Minakami High School Heroes.
The anime will debut on Hikari TV at 10:00 p.m., then air on Tokyo MX at 10:30 p.m. The show will debut on TV Aichi, KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, and BS11 later that night, before premiering on dTV Channel on October 7 and on AT-X on October 9.
Satoshi Motoyama is directing the sound at Ai Addiction, and TECHNOBOYS PULCRAFT GREEN-FUND is composing the music.
