GANTZ:O Film Gets 4D Screenings in Japan

The official website of GANTZ:O, the upcoming “full 3D CG” anime film based on Hiroya Oku’s Gantz manga, revealed on Monday that the film will get 4DX and MX4D screenings alongside its conventional screenings.

The second Attack on Titan compilation film, the live-action Attack on Titan films, the Girls und Panzer film, and One Piece Film Gold all used the same or similar technology in special screenings of the films alongside the conventional screenings.

With the 4DX or MX4D systems, certain theaters have motion seats that move in sync with certain action sequences onscreen.
