TV Tokyo reported domestic sales of ¥3.359 billion (~USD$31 million), an increase of 1.5%, and overseas sales of ¥8.277 billion (~USD$77 million), an increase of 28.6% from the prior fiscal year and the company cites overseas sales as key to the division’s increase in profit.
As a result, TV Tokyo’s animation division earned ¥11.6 billion in total, or 16% of the company’s total sales, an increase of 19.4% from the last fiscal year.
