The books have inspired a 1993 film, a 2004-2005 television anime series, a second television anime from 2005 to 2007, and a second film in 2006.
The staff for the new television anime based on Yutaka Hara’s Kaiketsu Zorori children’s book series revealed on Friday the anime’s title, animation studios, visual, and April premiere on NHK Educational.
The new anime will be the first television anime of the books in 13 years, since the second anime ended in 2007.
