And in that report, they announced that the second season of the Kantai Collection TV anime is still in production.
It really does look like the Kantai Collection anime ain’t dead yet.
The studio was established by Kadokawa together with pachinko game machine maker Sammy and anime holding company Ultra Super Pictures.
It’s still unclear whether they will be releasing the new anime next year or anytime soon. Kadokawa’s Studio ENGI is producing the anime.
