Back in November 2019, The Pokémon Company filed a lawsuit against a pair of leakers who shared photos of an unreleased Pokémon Sword and Shield strategy guide prior to the game’s launch.
The Pokémon Company argued in its original complaint that, after the second defendant shared the photos via Discord, they were then spread to a “worldwide audience.”
Now, according to court documents that were filed on Tuesday, the lawsuit has been settled and the defendants have to pay The Pokémon Company for damages and attorney fees to the tune of $150,000 each.
