There will be also be a contest, in which creators can submit illustrations or music videos for “Deji” Meets Girl and Kubo’s three songs.
The anime had its international premiere as a closing-day screening of Montreal’s 25th Fantasia International Film Festival on August 25.
Winners’ works will appear on television, and the winning music video will stream on Kubo’s YouTube channel.
The anime will air “in the tail end of the Super Animeism” block on MBS, TBS, and 26 other affiliated stations.
