  • Netflix announced on Thursday that it will stream Kyoto Animation’s Violet Evergarden: The Movie anime in the United States on October 13.

  • The film was was originally slated for a January 2020 opening in Japan, but was delayed to April 2020.

  • The film opened in Japan in September 2020, and it ranked at #2 in its opening weekend.
