A newly announced mixed media project entitled BLUE HUNTER: Manatsu to Toki no Kairyuu (“BLUE HUNTER: The Ocean Currents of Midsummer Time”) seeks to raise awareness and encourage action on cleaning up litter that pollutes the ocean.
The BLUE HUNTER: Manatsu to Toki no Kairyuu mixed media project includes a Webtoon manga that will begin distribution on various apps in November of 2022, voice content discussing marine life, 3D-printed color figures, art competitions, and live events.
BLUE HUNTER is part of the “Ocean and Japan Project CHANGE FOR THE BLUE” marine litter control initiative.
