The Apothecary Diaries Novels About Palace Intrigue Get 2023 TV Anime

Norihiro Naganuma (The Ancient Magus’ Bride season 1) is directing the anime at TOHO animation and OLM, and Naganuma is also supervising the scripts.

TOHO animation announced on Thursday that it and OLM are producing an anime adaptation of Natsu Hyūga and Touko Shino’s The Apothecary Diaries (Kusuriya no Hitorigoto) light novel series that will premiere this year.

Square Enix Manga & Books is releasing the manga adaptation in English, and it published the manga’s seventh volume in December 2022.
