Live-Action Ikoku Nikki Film Reveals 4 More Cast Members

  • The manga centers on 35-year-old novelist Makio Kōdai, and her 15-year-old niece Asa, who live together under one roof.

  • The film will open in 2024, and will star Yui Aragaki as main character Makio Kōdai.

  • The official Twitter account for the live-action film of Tomoko Yamashita’s Ikoku Nikki (Diary of a Strange Land) manga revealed four additional cast members for the film on Wednesday.
