ESA Permanently Cancels E3 Event

The ESA had previously announced that it would partner with ReedPop to bring back the in-person E3 event this year on June 13-16, but ReedPop later announced a cancellation for both the physical and digital versions of the E3 2023.

The Entertainment Software Association (ESA) announced on Tuesday that it is canceling the E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo) video game event permanently.

The ESA canceled the in-person E3 2022 event in January 2022 due to “health risks surrounding” the new coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
