The Black Clover stage event at Jump Festa announced on Sunday that Yūki Tabata’s Black Clover manga is getting a television anime series by Studio Pierrot.
Ryotaro Okiayu hosted the event with Tabata and idol Honoka Akimoto (a Black Clover fan) as guests.
The manga inspired an event anime that debuted at the Jump Special Anime Festa on November 27 and December 4, and will get a DVD release bundled with the manga’s 11th volume on May 2.
Viz Media’s Weekly Shonen Jump Twitter account additionally added that the anime will premiere in 2017.
