The game launches for the PlayStation 4 on February 7 in North America, February 8 in Europe, and February 9 in Japan.
The game received an alpha demo from April 26 to May 5 and a beta demo from August 23 to September 6.
Before it merged with Tecmo, KOEI had previously announced the game, then Romanized as Ni-Oh, as a PlayStation 3 release in 2004.
KOEI Tecmo also streamed a story movie, the first chapter in a video series titled “Nioh Legend.”
