Nico Nico Research: 306,000 Japanese Fans Pick Best TV Anime of 2016

  • Nico Nico Douga, the largest Japanese video hosting service operated by Dwango, conducted an online survey on the 279 TV anime titles aired (or streamed) in 2016, named “The Most Interesting Anime Grand Prix 2016,” via its “Nico Nico Enquête” system for its 50 million users.

  • During 72 hours between December 23 and 26, 306,568 people (male: 66%, female: 34%) voted for their best anime of 2016.

  • Its result is revealed as below today.
