From December 23 to Christmas day, a familiar classic video game character could be found scurrying passengers around Tokyo’s historic Asakusa district as Bandai-Namco offered lucky people a ride on a Pac-Man rickshaw.
Amazingly, this was not a promotional push for the Adam Sandler movie Pixels (which already came and went in Japan) or the “Dr. Pac-Man” character from the recent Kamen Rider Ex-Aid, but just good old-fashioned Pac-Man Fever as nature intended.
