Lead-In To Comiket" Offers An Early Look At Ufotable Plans For "Touken Ranbu" Anime

  • The anime is slated for July 2017 with Toshiyuki Shirai (Fate/zero animation director, episode diretor on Unlimited Black Works, God Eater and Tales of Zestiria the X) directing and Hideyuki Fukasawa (Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works) on music.

  • Nitroplus and DMM’s famous-swords-as-cute-boys game Touken Ranbu is being adapted into a 2017 Ufotable series and after the fall 2016 Hanamaru series.

  • Promo art for Comiket has offered a look at a more dramatic Katsugeki from Ufotable.
