The book series has previously been adapted into a two-season television anime series titled Fūsen Inu Tinny (Balloon Dog Tinny).
The books inspired The Bears’ School anime film in 2010, as well as the Ganbare!
Genki Kawamura and Kenjirō Sano write and draw the Tinny – Fūsen Inu Monogatari book series, which began in 2014, and now has six books in the series.
Bandai announced on January 13 that it is producing anime film adaptations of the Kuma no Gakkō and Fūsen Inu Tinny: Nandaka Fushigi na Kyōryū no Kuni (Tinny Ballon Dog: The Somewhat Mysterious Country of Dinosaurs), will open simultaneously on August 25.
