In March of 2017, the Osamu Tezuka Manga Museum in Takarazuka City, Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan is hosting a special talk event entitled “Mushi Pro no Idenshi ~ Robot o Tsukutta Otoko-tachi” (“The Genes of Mushi Production: The Men Who Created Robots”) which will feature a discussion by two of Japan’s most influential mecha anime creators: Yoshiyuki Tomino (creator of Mobile Suit Gundam) and Ryōsuke Takahashi (creator of Armored Trooper VOTOMS).
The “The Genes of Mushi Production: The Men Who Created Robots” talk event will be held at the Osamu Tezuka Manga Museum on March 12, 2017 at 1:00 JST.
Seating for the talk event is limited to 500 people, so advance registration is required, and to attend the talk one must purchase a ticket for entry to the Osamu Tezuka Manga Museum, which costs 700 yen ($6.17 US).
