Haruko Ichikawa’s award-winning adventure manga series, Land of the Lustrous, also known as Houseki no Kuni, has wowed critics and fans alike.
The manga got plenty of critical acclaim and nominations too.
It also got itself an animated PV by Studio Hibari back in 2013.
Now, according to the July issue of Afternoon magazine, a TV anime adaptation for the critically-acclaimed manga has also been green-lit. The manga’s story takes place in the distant future, where a new life form called “hōseki” (gems) is born.
