Metal Monsters Rampage in Maximum the Hormone Manga

Metal band Maximum the Hormone is getting the manga treatment in an upcoming serialization that combines the drawing talents of manga artist Hideaki Fujii with the scenario and original work of guitarist / vocalist Maximum the Ryo-kun.

The series kicks off in the September 2017 issue of Shogakukan’s CoroCoro Aniki manga magazine, which will be published in Japan on June 15, 2017.

The prologue story features Maximum the Ryo-kun meeting with Shogakukan executives, recalling his love for CoroCoro Comic as a kid, and describing his earlier collaboration with Hideaki Fujii for the cover of Maximum the Hormone’s 2013 album, Yoshū Fukushū.
