"Tokyo Ghoul" Author's Hoax "Hunter x Hunter" Prequel Becomes a Real One-Shot Manga

  • After a three-year break in collections, Hunter x Hunter volume 33 is out in Japan today.

  • To celebrate, the digital Jump+ platform has posted a crossover interview with Ishida and Yoshihiro, plus, Ishada’s 69-page prequel.

  • Back in 2015, Tokyo Ghoul author and former Yoshihiro Togashi assistant Sui Ishida made an April Fools “announcement” of a Hunter x Hunter prequel concerning the lethal anti-hero Hisoka.
