Real Girl Manga Inspires Live-Action Film in 2018

  • Warner Bros. Japan announced on Wednesday that it will release a live-action film adaptation of Mao Nanami’s Real Girl (3D Kanojo) manga in 2018.

  • Real Girl follows Hikari Tsutsui, a high school boy who is satisfied with the virtual girls he encounters in anime and games.

  • Tsutomu Hanabusa is directing the film with some of the same staff as his previous directorial work Heroine Shikkaku.
