  • A live-action film adaptation of Arako Toaru’s Bijin ga Kon Katsu Shite Mitara (When a beautiful woman tries joining marriage hunting.) manga has been green-lit for 2019.

  • Toaru based the slapstick romantic comedy manga’s story on real stories from a friend in her 30s.

  • Akiko Ōku is directing the film, while Jirō from comedy duo Sissonne will pen the script.
