My Tamagotchi Forever Smartphone Game Launches March 15

  • Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe announced on Tuesday that its My Tamagotchi Forever smartphone game will debut on iOS and Android devices on March 15.

  • Bandai launched the Tamagotchi franchise in 1996 and sold about 40 million virtual pets in the first wave.

  • As of March 2016, the franchise has sold more than 81 million handheld games worldwide.
