Enka Singer Kiyoshi Hikawa Peforms OP Song for The Sixth "GeGeGe no Kitaro" TV Anime

  • This is his second TV anime theme song work following his 31st single song “Genkai Toppa x Survivor” (October 25, 2017 release), the second OP theme for Dragon Ball Super.

  • The official website for the upcoming sixth TV anime adaptation of Shigeru Mizuki’s horror/supernatural manga series Gegege no Kitaro announced today on March 5 that its OP song is newly performed by 40-year-old enka singer Kiyoshi Hikawa.

  • Back in 1985, veteran enka singer Ikuzo Yoshi recorded it for the third TV anime series aired from 1985 to 1988.
