Takahiro and Tetsuya Tashiro ended their Akame ga KILL! manga in December.
The series, including the Akame ga KILL! ZERO spinoff, has 3,300,000 copies in print as of last August.
Akame ga KILL! inspired a TV anime, which premiered in Japan in July 2014.
