Manga creator Kenta Shinohara (Sket Dance) revealed on Tuesday that his Astra Lost in Space (Kanata no Astra) manga is inspiring a television anime.
(This Manga Is Amazing!) guidebook ranked the manga at #3, and the manga was nominated for the 12th Manga Taisho awards earlier this year.
Masaomi Andō (White Album 2, School-Live!, Scum’s Wish) is directing the anime at Lerche.
The manga ended in December 2017, and Shueisha published five compiled book volumes for the manga.
