The manga began in 1998 and an anime adaptation was produced in 2001 that ran for twenty-six episodes.
The first two volumes are priced at 10,000 yen each while the third volume is priced at 12,500 yen with it being a bit longer.
The new series has Yoshihide Ibata directing based on the series composition by Taku Kishimoto.
The main manga wrapped up in 2006 and Fruits Basket Another kicked off in 2015 and has three volumes.
