The orange marmalade I put into this version, in place of the Yuzu jam that is actually in the recipe, adds sweetness I actually don’t think the drink needs.
Maybe Yuzu jam is popular there, but the only citrus jam, jelly, or marmalade I could find was an orange one, so that’s what I used.
I think the tangy citrus would pair really well with the creaminess of the drink, and I just don’t think the orange marmalade does a good job of providing that contrast.
