The Basilisk franchise recently received a new television anime and manga titled Basilisk: The Ouka Ninja Scrolls (Basilisk: Ōka Ninpōchō), based on Masaki Yamada’s sequel novels for Basilisk.
Segawa’s original Basilisk manga adapts Futaroh Yamada’s 1959 novel Kōga Ninpōchō (The Kouga Ninja Scrolls).
The June issue of Kodansha’s Young Magazine revealed on Saturday that Masaki Segawa’s Jū ~Ninpō Makai Tenshō~ manga will end in the magazine’s next issue on June 20.
The manga launched in 2012 as an adaptation of Futaroh Yamada’s classic Makai Tenshō novel, which serialized under the title Oboro Ninpōchō in Osaka Shimbun from 1964-1965.
