The March issue of Shueisha’s Saikyō Jump magazine published the final chapter of Masato Ichishiki’s (Battle Spirits: Sword Eyes, Battle Spirits Saikyō Ginga Ultimate Zero) Battle Spirits Double Drive manga series on Friday.
The manga adapted the ongoing Battle Spirits Double Drive television anime series, which premiered in Japan on April 6.
The story of the Battle Spirits Double Drive anime begins when the protagonist, a red-haired elementary school boy named Shunta Mogami who loves the Battle Spirits game, is transported by a light from a Battle Spirits card to Spirits World, the origin of all Battle Spirits.
Aside from Battle Spirits Double Drive, Ichishiki previously worked on the Battle Spirits: Sword Eyes manga, which launched in Saikyō Jump in 2012, and ended in 2013.
