Blue Period OP Theme MV Follows Three-month Life of Art University Entrance Examinees

  • The official YouTube channel for the three-member Japanese piano rock band Omoinotake has posted a full music video for their major debut song “EVERBLUE,” which is now used as the OP theme for the TV anime adaptation of Tsubasa Yamaguchi’s coming-of-age manga Blue Period.

  • The TV anime Blue Period premiered in Japan on October 1, 2021, and Netflix has been streaming it worldwide since October 9.

  • Because the anime is a story about the protagonist Yatora Yagichi, who aims to go the Tokyo University of the Arts, this music video was filmed at Ochanomizu Art Institute, a preparatory school for art university in Tokyo’s Chiyoda Ward.
