This year’s 40th issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine revealed on Monday that Ukyō Kodachi and Mikie Ikemoto’s Boruto manga will be part of this year’s Jump Special Anime Festa.
Kodachi and Ikemoto launched the Boruto manga in Weekly Shonen Jump on May 9, based on and as a sequel to Masashi Kishimoto’s Naruto manga.
Jump Special Anime Festa will screen the entirety of the Isobe Isobee Monogatari ~Ukiyo wa Tsurai yo~ “mame anime” series and will also feature a “special video” for the franchise.
The announcement doesn’t specifically state that the manga will get an event anime.
