CAPCOM Vancouver was founded in 2005 as Blue Castle Games, and it developed Dead Rising 2, the sequel to CAPCOM’s Xbox 360 action game Dead Rising.
CAPCOM acquired the studio and renamed it to CAPCOM Vancouver in 2010 after releasing Dead Rising 2.
CAPCOM revealed on Tuesday it has “decided to cancel the development projects” at its CAPCOM Vancouver studio as part of a reallocation of its development resources.
The studio then went on to develop the Dead Rising 3 and Dead Rising 4 sequels.
