Back in 1994, Wataru Yoshizumi’s now-classic shoujo manga series, Marmalade Boy got itself a TV anime adaptation.
The live-action movie adaptation will star Hinako Sakurai as Miki Koishikawa and Ryou Yoshizawa as Yuu Matsura as the two leads.
Yoshizumi launched the classic manga back in 1992 and inspired a TV anime adaptation which ran from 1994 – 1995.
20 years later, the manga is inspiring a new adaptation, this time for a live-action movie, which will premiere in 2018.
