TV Asahi announced on Sunday that the Crayon Shin-chan anime will have an anime collaboration with the live-action series Doctor-X ~Gekai Daimon Michiko (Doctor-X: Surgeon Michiko Daimon).
The Crayon Shin-chan and Doraemon anime series moved to Saturdays after 15 years of airing on Fridays.
Ryōko Yonekura, who stars in the Doctor-X series as the freelancing surgeon Michiko Daimon, will voice the same character in a “short anime” that will air on November 9 during Crayon Shin-chan’s new normal programming time of Saturday at 4:30 p.m. The segment of the episode featuring Yonekura is titled “Doctor-X da zo” (That’s Doctor-X).
The anime’s characters Shin-chan and his dog Shiro will then appear in the fifth episode of Doctor-X ~Gekai Daimon Michiko on November 14.
