Mitomo launched the manga under the title Killer Killer last March, but the manga revealed with the third chapter in May that it was actually a spinoff of Spike Chunsoft’s Danganronpa franchise, specifically the Danganronpa 3: The End of Hope’s Peak High School anime.
Danganronpa 3: The End of Hope’s Peak High School: Future Arc was a sequel that focused on characters from the first original game, while Danganronpa 3: The End of Hope’s Peak High School: Despair Arc was a prequel that focused on characters from the second game.
The Danganronpa 3: The End of Hope’s Peak High School anime had two arcs that ran simultaneously last summer.
This year’s March issue of Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine announced on Thursday that Sasako Mitomo’s Danganronpa Gaiden: Killer Killer manga will end in two chapters.
