Square Enix formally announced at Tokyo Game Show on Sunday that it is producing a Nintendo Switch version of its Dragon Quest XI: Sugisarishi Toki o Motomete (Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age) role-playing game.
Wall Street Journal reporter Takashi Mochizuki had said on his Twitter account in April 2017 that a public relations representative said “support is planned” for a Nintendo Switch version of the game, but Square Enix had not officially announced the version before Sunday.
The game launched for both PS4 and PC (via Steam) in North America and Europe on September 4.
The game shipped in Japan for PS4 and Nintendo 3DS in July 2017.
