Itsuki launched the original Yakumo Tatsu manga in Hakuensha’s LaLa magazine in 1992, and Hakuensha released the 19th and final compiled volume in 2002.
The first two compiled volumes of the original Yakumo Tatsu manga will receive a collector’s edition reprinting on February 28, the same day the sequel begins serialization.
The February issue of Hakuensha’s Melody magazine revealed on Thursday that Natsumi Itsuki is launching Yakumo Tatsu Arata, a serialized sequel to her Yakumo Tatsu (Eight Clouds Rising) manga, in the next issue on February 28, 2018.
Hakuensha released the 5th compiled volume in May and will release the 6th compiled volume on February 28, 2018.
