Final Fantasy Type-0 Online Opens China Beta Before Launches in Japan, N. America, Europe

  • Square Enix released Final Fantasy Type-0 for the PlayStation Portable in Japan in October 2011, and then released Final Fantasy Type-0 HD for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in North America, Japan, and Europe in March 2015.

  • Final Fantasy XV/Final Fantasy Type-0 director Hajime Tabata considers the game the “rebirth” of Final Fantasy Agito mobile game.

  • Square Enix announced during the AWS Summit in Tokyo in early June that its Final Fantasy Type-0 Online mobile and PC game will launch an open beta test for the game in China this month.
