The series comes from the manga of the same name by Milan Mitra that Yen Press has released in North America.
Funimation has grabbed a series that came out way back in 2010 but has been unlicensed before, to the surprise of many, with Omamori Himari.
The anime was direted by Shinji Ushiro based on the series composition by Katsumi Hasegawa.
Plot concept: The slapstick romantic comedy centers around an ordinary 16-year-old high school boy named Yūto Amakawa who is protected by a spirit—specifically, a beautiful, sword-wielding cat girl spirit named Himari.
