North American anime distributor Funimation teased that it will make an announcement by posting an image from the Gosick anime on its Twitter account on Tuesday.

Bandai Entertainment had licensed the anime in July 2011, before announcing that it would discontinue new releases in January the following year.
The anime adapted Kazuki Sakuraba’s mystery novel series, in which Kazuya Kujo studies abroad at the Saint Marguerite Academy in a small European country in 1924.
