Ghibli Park Attendees Board the Cat Train in New Trailer Animated by Hayao Miyazaki

Ghibli Park is set to open its doors on November 1 with advance ticket sales opening on August 10, winners announced on September 2 and general sales opening on September 10.

Ghibli Park is only a few short months from opening its doors to the public for the first time and to prepare for the first tickets going on sale on August 10, Studio Ghibli released a short trailer animated by Hayao Miyazaki himself with long-time producer Toshio Suzuki narrating and composer Joe Hisashi doing the music.

The Ghibli Park trailer asks people to “take their time coming” as characters from Studio Ghibli’s back catalog of classic anime films hop on a Cat Train, which is like a Cat Bus, only longer and runs on electricity.
