Toei Kyoto Studio Park features sets for the studio’s period pieces, most famously Mito Kimon, a long running drama (1969-2011) about former vice-shogun Tokugawa Mitsukuni traveling the country is disguise, solving problems.
For the tie-in visual, Gin takes on the role of Mito Kimon’s Mitsuemon, the supposed retired sweets merchant, while Kagura and Shinpachi are his samurai retainers, Suke-san and Kaku-san.
The Gintama-related tourist attractions extend elsehwere in the historical captical with a Gintama Kyoto Bururun Taizaiki promotion running May 27th-July 6 and July 8-September with displays, stamp rallies and more at the Toei Kyoto Studio Park and Keifuku Electric Railroad Arashiyama Line.
