Memory-Tech Holdings and AOI TYO Holdings both announced on Thursday that Memory-Tech Holdings has acquired AOI TYO Holdings’ TYO Animations and REAL-T subsidiary companies.
The REAL-T editing studio is now a subsidiary of Memory-Tech Holdings itself, while TYO Animations is now a subsidiary of Graphinica, itself a subsidiary of Memory-Tech Holdings.
In addition, TYO Animations’ name will be changed to Yumeta Company, reviving an old name that was retired in 2009 when the original Yumeta Company merged with Hal Film Maker to form TYO Animations.
TYO Animations’ representative director Satoshi Yamaguchi will be the representative director and operations officer of the new Yumeta Company, while TYO Animations producers Fumiomi Gotō and Atsushi Urushiyama will be operations officers.
