Hasbro Announces Additional Layoffs

  • Hasbro appointed Chris Cocks as its new CEO and as a board member for the company effective February 2022.

  • In an email addressed to staff, CEO Chris Cocks cited “stronger headwinds” in the market than expected leading to the decision.

  • Deadline reported on December 11 that Hasbro is cutting about 1,100 staff positions in addition to the previously announced layoffs earlier this year, which amounted to 800 layoffs.
